16 Oct Dr. Gui Presents to Pre-med Students of the Webshadowers Mentorship Program
VMR Institute is proud to announce that Dr. Gui will be giving a presentation for the WebShadowers program on October 25, 2021 at 9:00 AM. WebShadowers was founded by two pre-med students of the University of Central Florida, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the goal of helping pre-med students gain much-needed clinical hours by shadowing MD and DO physicians, virtually, something they could no longer achieve in person.
Dr. Gui is proud to be giving a presentation that will give pre-meds an opportunity to learn more about ophthalmology as a specialty and retina as a subspecialty. He plans to introduce himself, the path to ophthalmology and retina, some patient case studies, and will offer additional words of advice. Dr. Gui’s hope is to give pre-meds insight into the practice of ophthalmology and retina based on his own experiences and perspective.
